NATURAL JADE: This is a high grade jade pendant necklace. The pendant is completely natural jadeite jade.

CARVING: It is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of Guan Yin, the Buddhist "Goddess of Mercy." Guan Yin is the Chinese translation of Avalokiteśvara, the Buddha of compassion. She also symbolizes harmony and compassion. When wearing the Guan Yin symbol, it is said to protect its wearer and endow them with wisdom, harmony, and compassion.

JADE COLOR: The jade color is a beautiful green color. It is semi-translucent stone and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a "glowing effect" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight.
